Major Turbine inventories several types of motors from most of the major manufacturers. Whether your application calls for vertical hollow shaft, horizontal or submersible, we maintain inventories of each.

 

Vertical Hollow Shaft 

Weather protected Type 1 (WP1) offers ample protection in most environments. This type of enclosure meets or exceeds NEMA requirements. Available in either 3600rpm (up to 75hp) or 1800rpm models. Motors above 50hp are suitable for part winding start. We stock vertical hollow shaft motors ranging in size from 40HP - 250HP.  If your application calls for a lower or higher horsepower motor - we can get it for you.

Horizontal Motors

When the application calls for a horizontal motor, we offer Baldor and WEG brand product.  Both are well known names in the OPD, TEFC horizontal market.  2 pole or 4 pole motors are available with many different frame sizes are available.

Submersible Pump Motors

We are a distributor for PENTEK and SEI 6" - 8" submersible motors. These two brands are well known in the water well industry. We stock 7.5hp up to  60hp 6” motors as well as 75hp - 150hp 8" motors.  If you need a higher hp motor, sizes up to 200hp are available
